The client came to us with a classic solitaire oval engagement ring in yellow gold elegant and understated, but she wanted more presence without losing the timeless silhouette. She asked if we could add a halo of small round diamonds to amplify the sparkle and introduce a two-tone metal combination for modern contrast. We designed a delicate halo of 0.49 carats of round diamonds in EF color and VVS/VS clarity, framing the IGI-certified oval center stone in E VVS2. The two-tone gold setting allowed us to layer warmth and brightness while keeping the cathedral structure she loved. The result is an oval halo engagement ring that bridges classic and contemporary, with the center stone elevated and surrounded by light from every angle.
