The client came to us with a photo of a clean radiant cut solitaire in 14K yellow gold a ring she admired for its simplicity and the warmth of the metal. She kept the image on her phone as a starting point, but after sitting with it, she knew she wanted more presence on the finger. The center stone shape and the slim band were non-negotiable; what she asked us to evolve was everything in between. She described the feeling she was after as vintage and editorial something with width and drama at the shoulders that still let the center stone lead. We answered that brief with the Sarah setting, flanking her IGI-certified 2.22ct E VVS2 radiant cut lab-grown diamond with a symmetrical cluster of marquise and round accent diamonds on each shoulder, all set in 14K yellow gold on a 1.6mm band that preserved exactly the delicate silhouette she had loved from the start.
