The client came to us with a photograph of a sleek marquise solitaire clean, modern, minimal. She admired the elongated shape but wanted to reimagine it with the kind of old-world charm she had always loved in her grandmother's vintage jewelry. She requested delicate milgrain engraving and a decorative cluster of round diamonds to soften the marquise's sharp elegance. We designed a halo that echoed antique bridal styles, added graceful knife-edge shoulders, and wove fine milgrain detailing throughout the setting. The result is a 2.18-carat total weight ring in 14K gold, centered on an IGI-certified E VVS2 marquise, now framed by 0.18 carats of round accent diamonds that feel like an heirloom passed down through generations.
