The client came to us with a classic marquise blue sapphire solitaire that captured her heart, but she felt the plain band didn't do justice to the 1.5-carat royal blue center stone. She wanted the ring to feel cohesive and intentional, not just a stunning sapphire floating on gold. Her request was specific: add graduated diamonds and echoing blue sapphires along the band to create movement and visual flow. We designed a setting that honored her vision, setting 0.35 carats of VVS2 clarity diamonds alongside 0.1 carats of lab-grown blue sapphires in a tapering arrangement.
